Hex Banding Tool Instructions:

1) Curl tail end of clamp around object to be clamped and back through the buckle to form a loop.

2) Place tail of clamp in the slot of the hex tensioning tool.

3) Attach a 3/8” socket / ratchet or 3/8” wrench to the hex tool.

4) IMPORTANT! Wind clamp down and under against buckle to gain tension pressure. Failing to do this will cause the tensioning tool to roll over the top of the buckle.

5) After sufficient tension is applied bend the clamp back over the buckle (while maintaining the tension) to create a bend in clamp tail. The bend will hold the tension.

6) Cut off clamp tail with tin snips or similar tool.

7) Complete clamp installation by tapping down the tail of the clamp against the buckle and then tap down the ears of the buckle to hold the clamp tail.
